When the Relief Project was started, our main goal was to educate families and the public about mental health disorders, in a way that eliminates the negative societal beliefs about these conditions. Our mission is still the same, the only difference now is how we plan to do it. In order to accomplish our vision with the Relief Project, we want to focus on three main topics in order to continue aiding students and people throughout our communities and beyond.
We strive to make in impact in our community and the lives of students. We understand how mental health goes untreated and its lasting impacts on students, which is why we strive to put our member and their needs first on our campaign on fighting mental health. Also, we pledge to reach out to all those who need help, regardless of gender, religion, legal status, race, and other forms of discrimination, in order to build an environment that supports and includes everyone.
The Relief Project works on educating the public and spreading awareness through various activates. These include; community outreach programs, social media campaigns, and partnerships.
Community Outreach Programs:
Relief Project will be setting up multiple seminars, workshops, and events throughout communities in order to spread awareness.
We will be posting information and resources on our social media, in order to reach out and connect to the public. Be sure to follow our Instagram in order to stay up to date with future events, information, and webinars.
The Relief Project works with multiple local business in order to fund and promote mental health events. If you are interested in joining our cause, please feel free to reach out to us on our email, telephone, or Instagram.
In order to take direct action within our community, we will be utilizing any funds raised to provide local schools with professional mental health counselors. They will be available at your school for one on one sessions by request based appointments, as well as any group seminar that will be held at a predetermined time and place.
Private/Anonymous Counseling:
We will also provide any financial assistance necessary to acquire a private counselor for yourself or your family- each case will be subject to individual review before funds are granted. The review process is confidential so there is no risk of having your private circumstances being spread among your peers.
