We value the inclusion of diverse groups from a variety of professional and educational backgrounds, and honor their input across all areas of The Relief Project. We recognize that when people across identity groups come together and engage as full participants in leadership, decision making, and programs we are able to provide resources and programs that best meet the needs of our members and the public. As such, leadership at The Relief Project embraces diversity, equality and inclusion as a core value for all members, staff, and volunteers. We are committed to fostering an environment that supports cultural equity and diversity in order to meet our goals.
We will provide awareness about mental health throughout our to communities by planning fundraising events, spreading information via social media and expositions, and informing students of the importance of keeping up with our mental health by connecting people at risk to health professionals. For example, funding for the adaptation of more guidance counselors in underfunded schools in the community.
